At HeyLayer we believe in the positivity and kindness embedded in gm, and we invite you to participate in the space and the movement by joining our Discord and visiting our Marketplace.

Our Smart Contract on the Stacks blockchain will automatically send a percentage of every sales transaction to a charitable cause.

So… what’s up with all the coffee?

Our first artist in residence, edfredned, has chosen to pair his gm artwork with a cup of go juice. Whether a shot of espresso, a tumbler to go, or a simple mug of java, every piece of art depicts coffee in a different way–sometimes as a minor element, and at other times as the most prominent subject.

Drops

gm NFTs are secured by Bitcoin and, in the beginning, sold as single NFTs and in packs of 3.

The 3-packs include 1 revealed and 2 hidden NFTs. Drops of 3-packs and singles occur approximately once a week.

Since gm belongs to–and connects–the entire NFT community, we intend to also make our gm NFTs accessible to Ethereum and other blockchains.

Who is the weird guy with the tongue and the rainbow?

FunkManJoe is the unofficial mascot of edfredned’s gm NFTs, and hidden among the 3-packs are 5 randomly placed new and highly rare FunkmanJoe NFTs.

In partnership with HeyLayer, certain random packs will receive additional platform benefits. Details in the roadmap.

At a later date, 1/1 PFP versions of FunkManJoe will begin dropping. All owners of gm NFTs will automatically be whitelisted.

Award-winning graphic designer and illustrator Ed Shems is a RISD grad who goes by the moniker “edfredned.” He writes and illustrates chapter books, graphic novels, and comics, and is the Special Guest Coordinator for the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo. He lives outside Boston with his wife, two kids, and—according to him—a very barky rescue dog.

The Airdrop

FunkmanJoe drops out of the sky and into the wallets of the earliest HeyLayer platform users and supporters. Everyone who has signed up at HeyLayer.com and synced their Hiro wallet by 3/10/22 should expect to receive an Airdrop. This NFT can be held or resold on Heylayer's secondary market.

The Key

Check to see if your airdropped FunkmanJoe is holding a KEY. If you do see the key, you’re in luck! The key is SPECIAL. It gives the holder access to all premium HeyLayer features for life. The professional plan is expected to be valued at hundreds of $ per year. As the value of the platform goes up over time, this is a gift that will keep on giving.

The Whitelist

What’s an NFT without a whitelist? All Airdropped NFTs, gm NFTs, and gm Packs automatically whitelist you into the much anticipated gm “PFP” Profile Photo Project. Owning an original gm PFP will open doors to future utilities.

The Packs

Packs provide a new experience of collecting NFTs secured by Bitcoin. Every gm pack will include surprise NFTs, some rarer than others. Packs are ripped open in real-time (think NBA Top Shots) to reveal hidden goods, similar to buying a collectible pack of cards in real life.

The Collaborations

As we grow, pack surprises will include collaborations with popular brands and top NFT artists across the world. Backed by HeyLayer’s growing platform, you will never get bored with what awaits behind each pack. You can resell NFTs collected from packs instantly across the Stacks Blockchain network.

The IRL Experience

gm doesn’t stop here. Our long-term goal is to bridge the physical and the digital worlds allowing you to leverage your gm NFTs as actual currency in the real world. This means access to gm swag and community-driven perks. Think free coffee in Miami for hodlers of gm NFTs.
